Rosedale International (RI) recently welcomed Madalyn to our staff in the newly created role of Media Coordinator.
As Media Coordinator, Madalyn will assist the Communications Department in their efforts to educate, inform, inspire, and engage all of CMC in the missions work of the conference. She will serve as writer and editor of RI’s written communication and give oversight and creative energy to the agency’s social media channels.
Madalyn grew up in Rosedale, Ohio, as the oldest of four sisters. From an early age, storytelling and visual design were a part of her life. “I spent a large chunk of my childhood writing stories and designing newspapers and magazines on our home computer. Writing and creating filled nearly all of my free time.” This interest led her to purse a creative degree, and in May of 2020, she graduated with a BA in Illustration and Photography from Grace College and Seminary.
Madalyn brings experience, passion, and education to this position, which according to Myron, Assistant Director of HR, “is an exact fit for the role—a perfect trifecta!” Her gifts and talents in written and visual communications will be a huge blessing to the agency, our programs, and workers going forward.
Madalyn is excited about the opportunity that she has to connect with churches and individuals all over the world through her work at RI, and is grateful for a close-knit, lifegiving work community to grow in her giftings. “I feel such peace being here. It’s just a reminder that God knows my heart and lays plans for me before I can put my desires into words.”
